• Name der Erstbeschreibung: Afrotrix lyonsae Haddad, Zamani & Marusik, 2026
• Etymologie: The species is named after Candice Lyons (Cape Town, South Africa), who first collected the species during her M.Sc. study on mine rehabilitation in arid western South Africa (Lyons 2008; Lyons et al. 2008), representing the first comprehensive ecological survey including spiders in this part of the country.
